The level of statesmanship is so low that it is amazing. People in congress now that have power have gone completely berserk with it and they frighten me. I am so sorry for your misguided ideas. I and all of the rest of Americans pay into social security, and Medicare, and thousands pay into unemployment insurance. I have paid Medicare premiums ever since it was initiated. I have paid into social security for over 50 years. And in 5 months and 26 days I am going to get my first social security check, and I will take it without an ounce of regret. I paid into it and I deserve it. IT IS NOT SOCIALISM!!! And when I get Medicare, same thing, I paid into it and I deserve it. IT IS NOT SOCIALISM!!! Employers pay into unemployment. When needed, IT IS NOT SOCIALISM. If the senators and congressmen both Republican and Democrat under both Rep. and Demo.
