After contracting herpes, an Oregon man created a website that "outs" people who reportedly have incurable, sexually transmitted diseases.
A person can get their name off the website if they hand over medical records that show a clean bill of health.
What do you think of this website?

This is ridiculous. It completely violates personal privacy and uses revenge to get back at them. Many of those who infect others don't even relize they have something, so should they really be punished in a societal way like this? People just need to be more careful who they are sleeping with. There is no just in putting their faces and names up on the internet.

Has this man not heard of safe sex? He is accountable for his own actions.

It's sad that you have to pre-screen your dates with a criminal background, credit & medical check but that's the reality from the lack of personal responsibility in the last few generations.

what this guy is doing is wrong. but it is also your partner's responsibility to tell you if they have contracted a STD. i agree with all of you but what would you do if you contracted a STD and went to a medical professional and they couldn't tell you anything even though they log everyone with a STD in the state? it would be frustrating. this guy took it to an extreme but how would you handle it?

Anyone who works in the medical/pharmaceutical industry (I'm a CPhT) would know that posting medical diagnoses and personally identifiable information (such as pictures, names, etc.) to something publicly accessible is a violation of HIPAA - this man should go to prison for this offense. The HIPAA act is a federal law. Not to mention, he's cruising for a civil case for defamation of character.
