The Seattle Mariners baseball team wants to stop a strip club from opening near Safeco Field. But, the club's owner says the business does not violate any city laws.

Do you think strip clubs should be allowed near sports stadiums?

I think this is a very good business idea. It will make the games better.

if u dont like it, dont go in......duh

I would not go for it because of all the kids that would be passing by.

I see nothing at all wrong with a business going in near a sports facility. As long as they are not breaking any laws or disrupting the traffic flow to and from the game, then let them move in. This is a free society and there are people who would probably support both ventures. Get a life people and let free enterprise thrive.

I agree with that attorney on tv. Apparently it's ok for the kids to be around open beer at the game but it's not ok for a kid to walk by a strip club? There is NO problem with a strip club next door... unless you're a BAD parent, and decide to take your 8 year old son for a lap dance at the strip club after the game, the club open if it wants to! And the last time I checked, there are no windows on the club's building. The strip club should be welcome! It wouldn't bother anybody,

Please don't add yet another 'garbage' industry to our beautiful city. We have enough of these now with all of the casinos that have opened in recent years! Please keep our city beautiful and

Why not, Sports arenas have been sleasing us out of money for years, why not a strip club?

Certainly Yes!Those who pay to watch sports where people attack each other would be better off watching strippers who do not attack anybody.

Its what you get for voting the same idiots into office every year. Ron Simms for example. You either make strip clubs illegal or legal. Remember its the people of Seattle who make the rules by who they ellect.

Q said:

Uhh, it's capitalism, who has the right to say they cannot put one there? None of you people.

RK said:

Well in one of those two places at least you can get what you pay for...

do they have free parking?

Tim said:

A sports stadium is not a park. It is a place of business. Just because we were forced to pay taxes so public funds could build a structure for a private company doesn't make it a public park.
Besides, the strippers are probably more drug-free than the sports stars we subsidize, so who is a worse influence on kids?

I can't even believe this is up for debate! EVERYONE enjoys sports...it's what brings families together. I feel sorry for any kid whose parent thinks this is OK. WAKE UP people...NO on the strip club and all the perverts that come along with it!

Not EVERYONE enjoys "your" sports, I find watching sports as much fun as watching the grass grow.

Please note if you like sports good for you go have fun with it, do what you like to do.

But because you don't like something, don't take it away from someone who might be into watching girls dance.

BTW girls danceing is boreing after a few hours to me too.

I like hunting and fishing.

This is dumb and not everyone who goes to strip clubs are perverts its fun and entertaining for ADULTS. But there are no windows on the club and unless your telling your child what it is when you walk by they wont know the difference, and if they can read it themselves... then dont you think its time for a talk? This is just a lame excuse for parents not to have to be parents and sheild there children from anything and everything they can. GROW UP PPL!! Seriously, I would rather have my kid see a naked woman than be around a bunch of drunken idiots any ways! DON'T BE DUMB!

I think it's fine if a strip club were to open near a baseball stadium. The club's today are a lot more classy than years past. It's not like kids off the street can just roam into the club. If the club requires I.D. to get in, then I don't see a problem. Then again, I am biased because I do promotions and marketing for a lot of adult clubs.
