It was once said:

"The first duty of society is to give each of its members the possibility of fulfilling his destiny. When it becomes incapable of performing this duty it must be transformed."

Alexis Carrel

Our economy and our lives are at stake because of our economy hitting rock bottom or at least near that. This is exactly the time and a place where our government needs to go back to the people and those in office need to be held accountable for their lies. The people should put the fear of God in the president and not opposite. They are our messengers (the president and congress). We should have open policies for discussion where ultimately the president sees them through. We are one incident away from a complete breakdown of our Society.

If that isn't enough, I received this from an interesting website today.

Israeli Military Intelligence Report
"Immediately following the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing China, Al Qaeda will launch a series of attacks on the oil fields of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar which will immediately paralyze the United States' economy."

At first I thought it was junk mail or perhaps just a fanatical conspiracy theorist but if this does occur, it is true, we will be disabled.
Our economy is fragile enough that we are at the mercy of those we invade. And I believe they won't be as gentle as we have. With all of our lies in the last 80 years, all of our stealing, all of our back alley hand shakes. How can we expect them to treat us any different.

Both weren't a problem until GW Bush got into office. The Iraq war wasn't even needed and took the country in a tailspin. I'd say economey and impeachment are highest on my list.
