Gas prices are taking a toll on travelers this 4th of July. For the first time in a decade AAA estimates a decline in the number of Americans traveling 50 miles or more from home this holiday weekend. Will you be cutting back on holiday travel plans beceause of high gas prices? 4 CommentsLeave a comment |
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are definitely cutting back on our travel during the holidays due to gas prices. We pay $65 to fill up our tank using regular gas. It is very frustrating because as a family we want to travel to the beach, parks and many more places. The gas has been rising every week and we are not getting a break. There is no way to get out of our house. We feel trapped as a family. It is the summer time and our kids would really like to get out of the house and go to places. Summer is supposed to be fun and eventful. The gas prices are taking the fun away. We sit in our house all day and can't doing anything about the gas prices. I hope that they will go down soon so we can get our summer back!
YES! Who can afford to fill their gas tank for such a frivolous reason as a day vacation?
Nope .. gas is 9.5 dollars in Europe. Americans need to realize the time of cheap gas, v8s and lousy mileage are over. Its time to bring in the non-hybrid 50mpg cars that have been selling in the rest of the world for ages .. the ones that the US has been deprived off.
BTW .. for those that think that motorbikes are 'green' ... think again:
