A Western Washington inventor has come up with a way for police to better identify bullets, by using a tiny code printed at the base of the bullet and casing. Do you think a coding system on bullets infringes on gun owner's rights? 4 CommentsLeave a comment |
Great invention and another step in the right direction to protect citizens.
The coding system on bullets does not infringe on gun owner's rights anymore than a VIN number does on a vehicle. If the consumer is doing what was intended with their purchase, there should no cause for concern of personal rights.
No matter how many numbers and ID marks you place on a round, there by increasing the cost, you will not cut crime.
People who commit crimes involving firearms continue to commit them even though you can identify them numerous ways.
The only real out come of this will be two things, 1. store bought rounds will cost more & 2. people will find a way around it.
Do you really know how easy and cheap it is to reload a casing with your own round?
Here is a novel idea, how about we try teaching our kids to make smart choices. Teach them what a gun is, how it is used, and the consequences of missuses. Then if they screw up PUNISH them. Don't just slap them on the hand and send them on their way.
If we as a society would actually enforce our own laws we wouldn't need all these extra money pit ideas.
many people load their own ammo. another dumb idea
Just another anti gun tactic to squash the Bill of Rights by the Democrats and Liberals. Wake up American People!!
