As the Northwest recovers from a round of deadly floods, do you think the government is doing enough to help families and businesses rebuild?

I think the local governments responded quickly, but the federal government is dragging its feet yet again. The Bush Administration will never learn from Katrina.

I would like to applaud NWCN for their coverage. Most national media outlets practically ignored the destruction. I'm sure if Washington was closer to the east coast or there was some racially charged reason to cover it, we'd be in the national spotlight.

I wouldn't say that it was ignored by national media. It was the top story on Cnn.com for 2 days.

It was top story on CNN.com for a few hours here and there for a few days then fizzled away... hence the "PRACTICALLY ignored."

now how many days... i mean weeks... was Katria the top story on EVERY MAJOR NEWS MEDIA?

yes i know Katrina impacted more people... but there should have been a lot more coverage. I didn't see Anderson Cooper walking around on I-5... or maybe i missed that...

I want to donate free water extraction and/or carpet cleaning services to anyone directly impacted by the recent storm. 800-876-7135
