Do you plan to do most of your shopping online this year, or shop in conventional stores and malls?

It'll be nearly all online shopping for me. I have no interest in this "combat shopping" that some folks do on Black Friday or the overcrowded malls the rest of the season. I'm keeping my car off the roads and saving gas & greenhouse emissions.

screw the shopping online or otherwise! a sure fire way to put a smile on somebodys face "CASH" you dont even have to wrap it just open your wallet pull some out and go "here" have some cash! smiles from ear to ear.
its so much easier than slick roads crowds then have them say "wow thank you" do you still have the recite?
cash is even better than pre paid credit cards because then you know they will spend it all.

As a former retail owner, I am aware of the significance of local shopping. Unless the recipients of Internet shopping have their business in a community, the community receives no benefit from all the business that goes out to online stores.
Local stores, including big box and chains, employ people, buy homes, support service business, pay property taxes, and other support in the community. Owners, managers, and employees, are active in the community, belong to service clubs, coach little league, serve in local government positions, active in schools and in so many areas give back to the community.
How much has Overstock.com given back to your community?

Philip, you are not saving greenhouse emissions. When you pay for a big diesel truck to deliver items to your house. Saving gas, you are correct.

I shop in the stores i think online is not safe and getting it at the store is alot better becuase u can see what your buying and not just a picture. Also you can find if the store has it or not and also get help other than the help questions.
