I, as well as, many of my friends feel
Karl Rove needed to leave his position many many months ago.....We are glad he is gone and the damage that has been done....well, it will take
years to give over this. We wish Karl a great job
in another jurisdiction! I am proud of the NW
and NW NEWS for keeping us all informed and aware
that people like Karl are on the other side of the country.

Karl Rove, stepping down for being President Bush's "architect"...and..personal friend..that should not be a concern of any of our citizens.
He (Rove)is in the category of a very small group, being a multi-millionaire,who owns three homes, and the arogance not to advise the President to actually follow through to us when he commented after the recent elections that he had" heard our message loud and clear".
I say, maybe now, Bush just might have to learn on his own or from his other good friend, the Vice -President...who is in the same wealth category as Rove, and puts his views and advisments to the President,ABOVE the LAWS that are supposed to govern all of we citizens.
Maybe he and our Attorney General can book a flight out of Washington at the same time.

He is a big boy now and can make those decisions for himself. I wish him well. He has done a great job for the President and for our country. The big question now is; Who will the crying left-wingers blame for all their troubles now? The screeching left has been blaming him for their toubles for years now.

Of course, they will continue to blame President Bush for everything. It's to hot, blame Bush. It's too cold, blame Bush. Too cloudy, blame Bush. Etc, etc, etc.

"If a tree falls in the forest and no liberal is there to hear it, is President Bush still to blame for it?"

This is the beginning of all the kings men to step down and separate themselves from the injustice of all of that that has already been done...more of his "special friends will disembark" before January 10th comes around...

It was enough to choke a horse listening to Rove talk about God and Bush's "integrity" in his farewell statement. There’s got to be a special place in hell for hypocrites like Rove and Bush. I'm surprised they weren't both struck dead by lightening or at least splattered with bird shit like Bush recently was as he stood at the podium in the Rose Garden spouting his usual lies.

But, there is good news about the Karl Rove era. His hard-ball, adversarial style, cynical manipulation, and craven opportunism has brought the well-deserved destruction of the "permanent Republican majority" better than any opponent ever could have. It's going to be a long time before Americans trust anyone from the conservative side of the aisle again AND there’s much more to come in terms of revelations of illegalities. We've barely scratched the surface. It’s going to take years to full appreciate all the deeds that have been done and the damage they've caused.

Old "Turd Blossom" started his career cheating and he never quit. I hope he eventually has to pay the legal consequences of what he’s done. But, even without the “perp walk” to jail he so deserves, he will always be credited with destroying the very thing he tried to achieve – the “permanent Republican majority” - by pushing the legal and ethical envelope in every way imaginable.

Who cares if it was a good move for Rove... The entire administration should resign! Hey George W, can you take a hint?!

Thank God Gore or Kerry weren't elected.

Can you imagine The Party Of Treason trying to defend America?

Yes, mascots that are racially offensive should be banned. I can not believe that the major concern of this decision is cost. Native Americans should adopt some ideas from the 1960's Civil Rights Movements. Then I'm sure the focus would be on racial equality instead of cost.

I am of native american decent and I caution other native americans to look at the definitions of the words "Warrior", "Brave", "Chief's" ect. before they scream for their removal as team names or school mascot's. We need to keep in mind that here in one of the most power nations on earth that our ancestors left such an indelible legacy on it's society that when one asks an average American on the street what image comes to their mind when they hear an athletic team called "Warrior's", Braves", "Chief's" that this image is of an American Indian comes to their mind. I like the thought that I come from a people, that so impressed an upcoming industrial power that when generations later that when they look for a mascot for the schools that their children go to that they look to words that they use to describe our American Indian Ancestors. I like the idea that when US Senators take foreign Dignatories to a NFL game in Washington DC that on the side of the player's Helmet's is a very clear image of a very digified American Indian Warrior and yes I am OK with "Red Skin's" being their name. I am an American Indian and the man that I see in the mirror each morning has red skin. If we as American Indians/Native Americans erase this image that our ancestors earned with their prowless, tenacity and blood we need to be careful about what kind of image we are leaving to replace it as our legacy.
As for me I hope that when I die that my legacy is remembered as that I came from a people who were "Brave", tenacious, capable "Warrior's" and that I was a worthy "Red Skinned" man; a "Warrior" defender when needed, who was a "Brave" man when it counted and that other "Brave" men looked to me for leadership like "Warrior's" looked to their "Chief".
