How would you rate President Bush's State of the Union Address?

I think that our president is making efforts to get us through a difficult situation with Iraq. Who knows if they are the best decisions or not. That can only be told after they are done. In war you never know what the outcome is going to be. It is easy for democrats to sit and say that it's not a good decision to send more troops but you never hear them give an alternative answer! Just negative about whatever the president decides.

I think that our president is doing the best job that can be done. He is making tough decisions that others wouldn't have the courage to make, but he is right.

Your news on the President's speech last night was sadly one sided. I believe in this war and the importance of helping Iraq rise to being free without the terrorist trying to take over.
You only broadcast the anti war comments. This is not like Vietnam or any other war. America needs to learn more of the consequences of running away from it. Help educate Oregon to the truth and not one-sided opinions. This is much to serious to treat as a political issue.

On a scale of 1-10 I give the President a 3. You could tell he was BSing everyone because his mouth opened.

What I was most impressed with was the rebuttal from Senator Webb. It spoke sincerely from the heart, didn't resort to formula, and stressed the passion with which Americans may disagree while remaining true to their patriotic natures. I hope to hear much more from this eloquent statesman in the future.

I feel the president is doing what he truly believes is best, and that is the scary part. Nevermind what the rest of the country, what the Iraq War Committee recommends, GDUBYA has got a hunch, so lets all blindly follow.

I live in the united states. and I like a whole lot of other people dont think PULLING out is such a great idea....for our military nor as a form of birth control.........and just because people who agree with me are not jumping up and down whhoooping and hollering...letting there feelings be known....dosn't mean they dont exist.....they are there...and are the true Majority......I'll give little bush a 7.5...

I voted for President George W. Bush in the past, and I'm sad to say that I made a wrong choice in the matter. Our President is making hopeless wishes and dreams and not initiatives that can be carried out by Him or his Staff. I find that Hillary Clinton has a better plan of attack on vital issues concerning the War In Iraq, The National Budget, Healthcare, etc. I'm 100% n support for a Female President, and I'm a Male.

Why is it so obvious the difference between liberals and conservatives/Republicans? Pres. Bush was presented in less than 8 months of his administration a crisis like no other President has faced. Everyone is a Monday morning quarterback...the only difference is that the Left attacks him with crude, hateful rhetoric(?) and the right outlines their opinions based on facts and/or love of America and their concern for the future of not only this country but the world. The Left is losing the battle of hearts and minds of patriotic America...too much name calling and put-downs, much like children on the playground.

President Bush is a true hero, and I give a prayer of thanks everyday that we have a wonderful, honest, courageous man like him in the White House!

The speech was a "15" on a scale of 1 to 10!
