Having enough money to do what I like to do, not necessarily excess money, just regular income. Earning it myself is important.

Then, I like to birdwatch, entertain, travel, garden and shop, spend time with family and go out to eat. (not in that order, but all included bring happiness and all require money) I also like to cook and decorate my home. Birdwatching brings me extreem happiness and if I had enough money to travel the world and count birds everywhere with my husband, I think I would be exstatic. All other pursuits could be forgotten. It all requires money. I suppose a nomad in Ubekistan might be very happy too (or totally miserable). But, my experience is living here so I do not really know. So that means, not being encombered with too many things that prevent you from doing what you love should make one happy. I think your childhood experiences help foster happiness. Leonardo Davinci was extreemely unhappy until his later years, when he realized his independance. He had a miserable upbringing.

My home makes me very happy and so does a happy marriage. Now that I am 55 and have been happily married for 12 years, that part of life makes me very happy. Good friends and family help to foster happiness.

What makes me very unhappy now is too much debt, having to work at jobs that require commuting on the 405 and working retail hours dictated by others. So independance that brings in money is a good thing.

There are two ways in which would make me happy and those are first the close knit ties of family such as constant loving communication and support and second to be debt free. Family is most important, because if you have family you have everything no matter what station in life you live. You can be the financially poorest person in the world, but if you have family, you are richer than Bill Gates.

Is able to exercrise my unalienable rights, among them are life, liberty and pursuit of; without Government infringment or disparagement thereof.

Every year the Judicial has been trying to legislate from the their benches-tearing away our Constitution and Bill of Rights.

LIVE AS "FREE MEN". That is happiness.

Anonymous generosity. Giving without acknowledgement for the betterment of another. Doesn't have to be huge, just selfless.

Anonymous generosity. It doesn't have to be huge, just selfless. Giving up a parking space, stopping for someone to cross the street in the rain, flowers on your neighbors doorstep...

Having enough money to not hve to work and pursue my photography and travel. (thats a pipe dream)

In reality, happiness to me is still having my parents alive, whom are close to 80 years old. When weather permits, getting outside of Seattle to photograph landscapes. Also happiness to me is just enjoying time alone and relaxing!
